Hi,

I want to draw my own maps for 'Worms Armageddon' or 'WWP' in *.BIT format. This format with 2 colors attract me.

I had try to draw a map with 'Photoshop' but this seemed to me long. I created tiles to copy/paste but this is the wrong way I think.

I have seen on the forum some people use Mr paint.
Is it the best choice? The Mrpaint advantage is the textured colour in black and white mode. It's really a big advantage but Photoshop can't do it?

Please send your techniques to light me the way .

Use BitMonkey program to convert your map into .BIT

You can also make the maps with color first, and then use BitMonkey to convert the image to BIT. BitMonkey will automagically create textures for each color so that you can see exactly what the picture is.

Yes, I know BitMonkey program, it's a good one. It's not a probleme for me to convert my file as a *.BIT. I use the differents color-modes in Photoshop for save at BMP or PNG format with 2 colors to prerender. I just wonder which tools to use in Photoshop or other software to work in a "optimum " manner to do "shopper map"?

Oh. You mean you want to draw your own maps and use textures?
There is a pack somewhere, I don't remember though. It has all the black/white gradient textures that can be used to fill spaces when you are making maps

I use "Voila Traductor".
But it makes certainly also errors.

I finally found a guide who can help the persons wishing to create a map under Photoshop with pattern. That seem to be good to use with feather tool in photoshop.
