I know this sounds stupid to all you advanced users out there, but how do I PLAY my own custom mission? I'm using WWP, and the official WWP editor from Team17. The Help Guides didn't help...

Well, uh, the Users Mission doesn't show...I downloaded the patch. Am I supposed to specify something to the correct location? I notcie a wwp icon pop up, and when I click it, it says No CD inserted. (I downloaded the No-CD patch)

First you have to make sure your mission is compiled and saved in the missions folder. If it has a file extension starting with _ then it's not compiled. Then, where you find the mission in WWP will depend on what type of mission it is. If it's a multiplayer mission then it'll be amongst the user missions on the multiplayer screen. Otherwise it will be somewhere in the single player menu; either user time trials or user single player etc.

I've got the User Mission Option now! Thanks! There's one problem though-whenever I press the okay button (blue check) that "window" pops up that says This program is NOT RESPONDING) why the heck is my computer so stubborn!

{Edit} That should be a question mark at the end...thanks for the help anyway, can you figure this out?

[Edit Again] Waiiitaamiinnuttee......when I play any game, it doesn't work now! I installed the patch; but...it seems that patch seemed to stop gameplay! All I see is a blank screen and when I eject the disk, the candle goes down. Hmmm....crafty computer!

Actually, I downloaded the US patch.
Problem: It keeps showing that STUPID message, insert the CD, and I inserted the CD. ???
So I actually, believe/not, downloaded the European version. The program came, but I cannot access gameplay. It just turns blank when I play Single/Multiplayer.

You might wanna reinstall the game and make sure you're installing the right patch for your CD.

Then try the No CD patch after that. There might be different No CD patches for different versions... I'm not sure though.

Cool...I did that and it worked. But one more small problem...when I go to the create team, there's no speech. And when I run it, it says no Soundbank default check...but the files are right there....

[edit] [I'll try reinstalling it again; there seems there are probably some flaws while installing...]

Here's a short, quick version.

WWP worked fine until I got the patch.

I tried America: NO CD Inserted!

I EVEN tried Europe: No check soundbank default

Should I re-install it or something?

I really want to use the mission editor!
