I create a map from various pictures and they look pretty good, But then once i encode them they come out all pixely, With random pixels all over the map, I`m using Black and white images only btw. Can anyone who has the program please tell me what i`m doing wrong? or if u dont understand my question just go ahead and tell me what type of images u use (colour / BnW etc, Jpeg / Gif etc) Please help me i Neeeeeeed to make my own maps

bitmonkey only uses black and white colors so... yeh
Pick a terrain that .BIT maps use to display correctly, which owuld be Cheese, Pirate, Medical, Manhatten, or Beach(sand)
Random pixels would be that you made the map wrong and, stuff. empty areas need to be completly black (0.0.0) otherwise it will register as a terrain...
well, i dont really know. Upload the map somewhere (not btp :]) and post it here so we could get a better idea

Don't use jpeg. Bmp is fine.

I used to have the same problems, but that's because I used jpeg, jpeg compresses the file size giving it a lower quality picture, therefore making random pixels. In MS paint you can't prevent jpg from compressing, only real image edit programs do it. But they still will produce random pixels.
