I see it as a publicity stunt. Everyone was talking about the Wii when it was announced. Unless you live in a hole.

and I bet in Japan it went down really well, scicne they don't have a word that sounds like "Wii".

Quite frankly I hope Nintendo do well with the Wii, they're a great company. The name is crap but it did get them lots of free publicity an they've really tried to make the Wii revolutionary. As far as I can see the Xbox 360 and PS3 are just better versions with not much new stuff.

I dont know what to get. I want halo3 which will be 360 only, but I want the Ps3 cause I've wanted the ps2 but mom was being a commie about it at the time. And Ps3 will have a harddrive built in (so ive heard) and in that case, it will be possible to mod and do lots of hurray things. But the supiroir downside is the $500 price tag

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the $500 one the cheapest with the bare minimum. I think that's a complete rip off tbh.
