A minute ago, I scrolled down a random thread feeling bored and unable to do work when I happened to glance at my post count. Three nines in a neat row. That is what I call timing. It means that this post will be my 1000th post on BTP.

So, without getting too exited (after all, what is a virtual post count on a thoroughly random site that contains the likes of C1 and Spaz?)I thought I'd make a random thread and pitch you'all the big questions of everyday life:

1. What is the gap between your teeth called?

2. What is our purpose in life/why are we here?

3. Why does the Earth turn?

4. What happens to the people who were born in the stone age who had a fantastic raw talent for golf?

6. Who invented the bits on the end of shoe laces?

1. What is the gap between your teeth called? Tooth-gaps

2. What is our purpose in life/why are we here? we are here because an all-powerful deity of some kind got bored watching nothing, so he made something to entertain himself

3.. Why does the Earth turn? because there\'s an obscenely large guy on each side of the earth and every time it tries to get balanced, the weight throws it off and causes it to make another revolution. it just happens to happen at an even pace every day.

4. What happens to the people who were born in the stone age who had a fantastic raw talent for golf? they were devoured by the female of the species in a fight over the caveman spending too much time out with friends and not enough time in the cave with the children and dinosaurs.

5. Why is a raven like a writing desk? because if you write on either you\'ve just made a mistake that will be noticed by everyone you know.

6. Who invented the bits on the end of shoe laces? John Stamos after a fight with his son about tying the end of his shoe string to a peice of gum, a sea urchin, and 3 miniature rodents.
