I think it would be a good idea to add comment boxes to the page where your sig is blocked. Then people can add comments about why your sig was blocked. Obviously including a link to the page in your profile too.

I think that when you click the "Hide sig" link, it takes you to a page with an input box where you can type your reason for hiding it. The reason gets sent as a PM to the owner of the sig.
