Hi guys
I found a homeless man's backpack back in October in downtown Toronto with a ton of insane stuff belonging to the homeless man Denis McGrath in it. Among other things (his birth certificate, subway cards, unused underwear, wallet, etc), there are many hundreds of pages of stenciled poetry, stories, and randomness, as well as weird diagrams and mathematical equations and phrases such as "Industriell defence spornge!" I scanned a few of the poem ones to my computer for a poetry assignment, so you can see these for samples:

I still have not been able to figure out whether or not this man is a secret government agent or just a crazy nut who drops too much acid. I'm posting this here because it's the biggest forum I know of, and I'm trying to gauge interest and stuff because I want to try and make money off of it, maybe a book or through ebay or something. There are diaries where Denis writes about police searches and how he was mugged and stuff. In his backpack were about 60 stencils of all colours and sizes. What baffles me the most is why this guy took the time to stencil sooo much crap onto pages. The poems I've posted here are some of many that all start with the same line. It is as if Denis McGrath took his work so seriously that he needed to keep restarting it to get the perfect poem.
Does anyone find this interesting? How do you think I should attempt to profit from this? I really want to be able to buy one of those ipod video's
Peace guys

Kinda funny, those poems are bloody hard to read though. Reminds me of this (you have to be a member to see it unfortunately, but basically it's some weird notes/written thoughts about God and evil and dreams and satan, along with a photo of a baby, which someone found on the road).
I reckon if you wanted to make money, you should sell the entire backpack and its contents as an ebay auction or something. Ebay might consider it stolen though. Maybe to keep it legal you should leave a note with the police that you have Denis' backpack and wait a certain amount of time to see if anyone claims it. I bet meeting him would change your life forever.

You make me laugh! If you want a big forum try Genmay or Newgrounds. Maybe someone on Genmay would even want to buy it.

Thanks Bloopy I took your advice and posted it on newgrounds. I'm still waiting for my account to be activated on Genmay. The problem with selling the backpack on ebay is I don't think it would get any bids - who searches for 'crazy homeless man's backpack'? That would be the point in writing a book or something about it, to get the publicity needed to sell it on ebay and profit like a lubricated asian in a waterslide. And thanks for the link: I'm going to join that site right now so I can see the baby and satan stuff, it sounds even more nuts-ass than this.

You're thinking you could sell that sheer randomness for a stupid iPod?

That made me laugh, too. http://www.neowin.net (Even larger than those posted by Bloopy, though i don't really think that anyone would be interested there...)

Ebay has a "weird" section, people actually go looking through the weird things available to buy.
