Here is the game. I give credit to the Pope for the map idea. I found this map in one of my directories and I remembered that I got the map idea from Pope.
50 startup fee.
Also, there is a max of 8 players. (8 continents and 8 players).
------------------
The way the game is started in by finding up to 8 players, provide them with a colour where they all have good contrast and good constast against the map colours.
To claim land that is currently unclaimed, your army must move from its current location to that block. Your army is the white dot with your designated colour in the background. You can only move one block at a time, but may move as many blocks up to the number of moves you have per turn. You get one move every 30 minutes. (Ex/ 1 day past, you can move 48 squares) Players start with 1 move. After taking your turn, the number of moves you have resets to zero. The directions that you can move in are demonstrated in this image:
http://www.borntoworm.com/cclan/uploads/Direction.png .
When attacking an enemy, you move over their land. The attacker should draw on the map where he/she is attacking to denote what land is under siege. To do this, you should colour the "under siege" land your colour and put the white dot above each block to show where your army is attacking, or you could colour it in a different colour. You and your opponent must roll two dice each where the highest roll wins the battle. If the battle is victorious, the land that was previously denoted as "under siege" now belongs to the attacker and should br drawn to correspond to such a thing. The dice is located here:
http://www.blamethepixel.com/diceroll.php . So no cheating! Should the defender fail to roll the dice and announce your total number within 3 days, then the attacker automatically claims victory. If the defender rolls the same number as the attacker, the defender and attack must re-roll to decide who wins the battle. Should the attacker lose a battle, then the attacked land still belongs to the defender and any unoccupied land that the attacker claimed in that attacking turn still keeps it. However, any land that was claimed after the attacked land, will be lost in the battle, because you would never have claimed it because you would have lost the battle.
You may wish to purchase unoccupied land, as this is a faster way to gain unoccupied land than using your moves in a turn to claim land.
Here is the price list for each type of block:
- 60 pounds / main green space (#00CC00)
- 50 pounds / transitional green space (#20FB20, #12680A, #009900)
- 30 pounds / sand square (#D7EE5A)
- 25 pounds / dirt square (#616416)
- 10 pounds for ice (#FFFFFF)
- 10 pounds for infertile mud (#63400B)
You may buy any piece of unoccupied land and when you buy that piece, your army teleports there too. You must buy at the beginning of you turn however. The game host may not buy any blocks. You donate the money to the game host.
During your turn you can teleport your army to any capital that is occupied by you. A capital is the yellow dot you find on continents. This is just an easy way to get around so you don't end up traveling over your own land again or going though water to attack someone. You may teleport using the capitals as many times as you like during your turn.
Ending Battle: (last battle in the game, against the last two players): You roll once and if the person with the most land wins, they win the game. If the other person wins, you roll best out of 5. If the person that has less land, has less than 1 full continent, that person must win all 5 rolls to win. Otherwise, they must win at least 3 out of the 5.
