Recently the program I used to download my lovely and perfectly legal files (with my slow dail up connection I may add) was shut down(winMX). I am now looking for something new, safe and reliable. Anyone got any ideas?

And I hate kazzaa.

Morpheus is still around? That was a crappy file downloader about 5 years ago..I wonder what it's like now..

I have BearShare, but I think the new version has spyware that can't be uninstalled.
Mine only came with a weather program and I uninstalled and removed anything else (which was very mineute) with my spybot.



Also: May I ask as to why WinMX stopped? Besides being crappy, they were one of the best free file downloaders. A lot of people had it..

Ive only ever used Limewire and didnt like it. Made my computer run very slow.
