Im sorry, but i think the series has gone downhill a bit since worms 3D. Just my opinion, but does anyone else think there should be a new 2D worms game?

Yes. It'd be foolish not to. I really can't see the 3dness getting any better than worms 4 tbh.

There should be, but the chances of it actually happening are probably slim to none.

They should stay with 3D for now, because that's all we're getting. 2D games don't fit in anyone's intrest right now anyways. They aren't what people are looking for. Do you honestly think people new to Worms would like to try old 2D games? I think nawt.

Alien Hominid was pretty lucky because Tom Fulp from Newgrounds had made it and had easy access to advretise it.

Worms 3D isn't too hard to fix because they prefected everything in Worms 4, they just need to patch it. Otherwise, I think 3D > 2D.

what about a Mod for the 3D Womrs games that they can be played like W:A or WWP that would be excelent.

That would defeat the point though, you may aswell just go and play WWP and W:A.

Good point. A question: on 3D games, can you ninja rope, blowtorck, pnematic drill etc? Has the darkside been destroyed?

ninjarope, but its incredibly annoyingly hard to use but, ive haerd people say you can get really good at it
being a darksider is rather difficult but then again i havent played the 3d games for long to care (lost interest, xbox version sucked.. no guns! just explosives..)

Yes, unfortunatly, being a darksider is quite difficult in the 3d games. However, it could be easier in worms4 due to the new weapons which I havnt used.

In the 3d games you can't blowtorch or use the pnuematic drill as they don't exist.

One thing that I think is cool about W4, is that you can use the Ninja Rope to drag and drop oil drums

You can still darkside in worms 4. The problem is that most people who play it online are noobs, and they like to use schemes that have almost all the weapons enabled. With the right restrictions worms 4 can be quite stratigic. Weapons like the sentry gun allow you to darkside as long as your opponent doesn't have a load of bubble troubles. Placing girders can give you protection from airstrikes just like in the 2D games.

3D rope isn't quite as bad as most make it out to be. You need to learn how to use it and gain some experience. I could show you some neat tricks with it. You can get anywheres on a map within 15 - 30 seconds if you have a ninja rope and a parachute.

Most darksiders play with most weapons enabled? That sounds stupid. I play team17s and darkside.
