I used to play W:A a pretty long time ago, I totally forgot about worms, then i bought wwp sveral years later, but then i was kinda surprised it hasn't changed much, the wormpot and missions are the only major difference, rest is really pretty much the same....
I left WWP again for several years, and i'm playing it again now onlinem, then i hear news that W:A is still being updated.....
I jus wanna knw EXACTLEY what are the updates...and are the updates really worth it or are they realy small stupid things...

The updates are worth it and they are not stupid little things. You won't even recognise it when you start playing it again

well, I can always read the read me file that comes with the patch, but you know what, this looks pretty much like a forum, and guess what, we can discuss the updates, and talk about if they're really updates or useless improvments...I wana know what are the biggest things that happened since 1.0, is this s o much to ask....
The read me file is a techinical doucument, i wanna knw what people think about it...
Just buy WA! NOW
Seriously, you can pick it up for £5.
I have a friggin pirate copy since the game was released, and u knw the deal with the patches, I'd love to buy one, but I've never seen it on sale anywhere man.....

There's been WAY too many things for them all to be listed in one place, so I'll just put up some highlights.
Ability to use color maps online.
Ability to limit the number of players in a game.
Fix for the parachute bug (possible to sustain fall damage even with parachute selected).
Ability to rope-knock in offline games.
Ability to record (automatically done) games and then play them back.
Ability to extract maps, logs, and schemes from said recordings.
Fix for the crash on poisoning bug.
Ability to set MUCH higher resolutions.
A few more of the soundbank sounds are actually used.
Bazooka, Homing Missle, and Mortar now use very different color palletes to diferentiate between the three.
Numerous other minor fixes.
Numerous other minor improvements.
As for buying W:A, get it from Team17's online shop:
https://secure.team17.com/

thanx a million glenn, see for me, these changes don't really make the game whole loads better, i mean it's a conveineince more than a whole new expereince...
But I like the sound of hi-rez, i've got a widescreen (1280 x 800 ), and it's really annoying playing with a black rectangle on the left and right when using ( 1024 x 768 )
You know, you can get worms 2 W:A and wwp, for 14 pounds, that's pretty cheap i must say...

It would help alot more if you displayed what country you are from so we can suggest websites to purchase W:A from.
Although Glenn is correct from buying from T17 website

I saw his country in WWP, he is from UK.
Unless he has a flag different of his country, which can happen sometimes

If he is using Windows XP, then the regional settings say he's in UK. If that was changed, so would his flag.

There's also a program you can download to change your flag without changing those settings.
Pio has that. - He's from Florda, not Finland.

Oh some1 spotted me online I'm NOT from the UK, I'm from The United Arab Emirates, and unfortunatley Team17 hasn't made a map for my country, so I get UK as default...-_-
And I don't think this program allows you to select any flag u want, you just select between the flags in wwp, not custom ones..
