Erm... W:A came out on the PC before it came out on the PS...

I know it came out on the PC first, it's just what that one game has turned into.
For insistance that there are still patches being made for it, and none for newer ones like WWP, W3D and none at all for WF:US

Yes, patches are being made for W:A, but that's because Team17 doesn't have to pay for them to be done.

Without looking at half the posts made in this thread Im gonna go ahead and post my own opinion.

I have no use for a DS or PSP, therefore I am not interested. However, i am quite interested (what a contradiction!) to see if they add any new features to this version of worms, or if its just going to be another port. I highly doubt, however, that they will screw this one up. I think that these advanced systems should be able to to take everything that team17 puts into the game. GBA didnt seem to be able to do that.

Tell ya this much, Worms for the cell phone sucks. Waste of my money.

Indeed, for the cell phone is crap. Luckly I didn't pay for it (thank you Bluetooth).

Anyway, I will be buying Worms for PSP cause today I put down my deposit to collect it at midnight on the 1st September

What ever happened to worms golf?

I never heard about a worms golf game kikumbob...

I've heard of Worms Golf, but I don't think it actually got made.
Anyone confirm this? Or am I wrong?

kikumbob, this is definately not a port. They're writing the code from the ground up.

So, what? You'd rather have a game that doesn't even try to take advantage of the technology in EITHER system, and has all the bugs that W:A had?

Anyway, W:A did have alot of bugs but that was before the XP / 2000 patch.
Once that was released I had no problems with W:A at all.
I don't know about the rest of you.
