If I were to get a new computer, any ideas on what I should get. I want one that is fast above all else. I hate slowness. I also want one that can play Worms 4, and has a burner. (preferable a dvd/cd burner, but if not, just a cd burner)

 Also I'd like Windows XP.

That's all. I also don't need a mouse or a Kb, or a screen. So if you know of a really cheap tower, on the internet or that they sell at: Dell, Walmart, Zellers, The Source, or some International corporation that sells computers then I guess tell me that. I don't know where to start, so don't just say "Check google".

You can't say the phrases "good computer" and "really cheap" within about a mile of each other. It's against the law .

If you want the cheapest way you can possibly go, buy the parts and put the computer together yourself. That way, you also have total control over what goes in your computer, and you also have full access to all options. For instance, Dell won't install an AGP graphics card in their computers, if you want one, you either need to find a vendor that will, or get the parts and do it yourself.

Also, Dell don't allow modifcations to be made to the PC so no future in upgrading with them.
 As Glenn said, go custom.

I agree with those 2. Custom build is the best way.Not only is it cheaper, but you get the parts you want and not the parts they want you to have.

despite what people say, custom build is /not/ cheaper. However, you rarely find a custom built PC that has the specs for what you want - and building it yourself *is* cheaper than getting a custom spec one from a major retailer.
I dont know of any canadian online computer firms i'm afraid, but if you post your exact reqs we should be able to recommend hardware choices.

If you dont mind spending too much money, I recommend Alienware's USA site. You can completly customize a computer from scratch there and they will put it together.
However if you dont want to be ripped off just buy the parts andput it together yourself.
