It does disturb people when they can't read what your saying..

If you're me,and can't read internet shorthand at all then it gets really annoying/

but (I think) there are some expressions who are common and should not disturb people (u instead you, pls instead please, thx instead thanks) because almost everibody understand them

I understand it, and I can put up with most of it. However, I cannot, and will not bear people replacing an entire word with one letter. I'm alright with things like lol, that actually takes a bit longer to type, and if you can't use it odds are you won't keep up with some people's typing. However, there's no excuse when people use r for are, u for you, etc. It takes me just as long to type out that short three letter word as it does to hit just the one key.

I dont actually notice they have shortened words when I read the posts. Like I just read YourFreakinHero's post and then read spider's and didnt understand what he was on about and had to look at YourFreakingHero's post again.

I suppose I text too much and go on msn regularly. I.e., I dont have a life.

No, it doesn't take 3 times longer. You have four fingers on your right hand, use them all when you're typing it.

Funny you should mention the pixel name. Though, Abd likes Spiderman, and since i'm not him, i am not related to his pixel in any way. And Abd chose someone else as his husband

Also, that post was barely an expression of my own opinion - i am not a grammar nazi, neither do i pay much attention to use of txt speak on forums ( i caught myself saying "lol" in real life, which is rather unnatural, considering that i'm russian), but i know that many other people do.



I am not the one who rated you down - i didn't yet find a reason to. I don't care about my own rating either.
