Ok guys, this is it now. Crunch time.
The demo has finally been released of Team17's latest Wormage.

The biggest question is. What did you think of it?

My opinion is that I loved it.
- very funneh
- graphics a hell of alot better
- abilty to create weps and worms looks is impressive

Downside is that it will be on DVD, for those who don't have a DVD drive and want this will be forced to spend more money on a DVD drive.

Post comments and thoughts below.

personally, I find W4 to have more personality and fun than the 2D worms did, and I prefer it over the 2d worms games (not the demo, but what teh full game should be like assuming it's as good as the demo is for a demo, if you get what I mean).

I'm preordering the game and will gladly be playing this installment of a 3D worms (unlike W3D, which I've given to my cousin).

Well, you should be able to find a few cheap graphics cards that will run the game. Or, just get the equivalent of $60 American dollars and go buy yourself a new card.

Or, just chuck the whole thing and order a pizza. I don't care :P.

some how I don't see the usefulness of that suggestion.

Pizza is good. Horribly underpowered video cards (like mine and C1's, but C1's is worse) is bad.

And the joke comes from a Garfield comic strip... It was a bit different (it had to do with Jon trying to make food), but, um, yeah...

Almost every post in this thread now has a smiley sticking its tongue out:P

I really liked the demo and found it very enjoyable. Infact I still play it everyday and have restricted myself to using just grenades to try and win (because I like challenges.)

The 2D games are too different to compare.

It is pretty impossible to play any rope games if the rope doesn't act like a rope. GO SPIDER-MAN!

Of course, there is a group of players on Worms3D that is capable of playing Shopper games using the 3D rope. It's just a lot harder to get the rope to work right.

I used to be able to do it, and then I just stopped playing W3D. Too many other things to do.

yeah, but there's a bit of info not many players know anymore: SHOPPERS AREN'T THE ONLY GAME MODE! personally, I'm VERY glad to see that there aren't anymore shopper games, unless the players are really good. I stopped playin 2D worms becauseonly noob idiots are on wormnet, and all they play are shoppers.

Ok, I'm buying W4. If newbs are wrecking worms, then it's not worth playing anymore.
