But don't you think that Team17 will know that half the success of worms is down to online play. Many popular games (RR, Proper) are played with rope. They would've taken into consideration of making a good rope system I assure you.

i still think 3D is not the way forward in this game.
After 3D will they go realtime?
i have many games that are 3d shooters and worms doesnt fall into that category.

ya think worms should stay 2d thats one of the only games that should. Mind u there isnt much left to do with the game and they dont wanna go out of business. Also I think Worm42(quite a n00b name) is gunna be the next spammer of btp. Say he to spammer 6

Ok, the roping system isn't too hard. It *should* be first person view or else we should just see from behind the worm. Use use the arrow keys to swing left right forwards and backwords. Then to extend the rope and contract would be 2 keys on the keyboard. Like A and Z. Then you press Space to let go and shot the rope. It isn't that hard if you think of it

maybe even the two keys could be the mouse buttons. but then that leaves the weapons...

thats alot of buttons, say sumthing that happens evrytime in games in 2d, u repeat swing and launch say a nade from the rope, that becomes mega complicated in 3D.

personally im probably not going to buy it, if i do it would ps2 making it even harder!

well this is wat i think! (lol man i think too much) u'll probably move with the mouse seeing as that would be a quicker way of action. Mind u u could use the keyboard. For ropes...A FUCK THAT ANOYING DOG DOWN THE STREET IS BARKING AGAIN!...for ropes u would have to have a very weird angle to see it good. And if ur roping on the ceiling the ceiling may interfere with the roping worm and mess the roping up. And as for worms 3d the images ive seen of it seem like u wont be able to contruct the map except for the map editor. And so it will be a piece of shit game. If u wanted to move forward in the gaem add more features in 2d

ive been on the team 17 website and ive only seen island shots no caves and i think they might be getting rid of the rope plus try doing a RR in 3d there would be to many ways to go in
