which of them should I play if I'm only interested with pRoping? I have been playing WWP for about a week and I just love this wXw maps, now I have heard I might find more competition in W:A, having about 20 players online in wwp really bothers me, what should I do?

Play WA, with the new patches you can play on a bigger resolution. You'll find better competition on WA too.

Plus, W:A has now gotten rope knocking enabled offline.

However, I do think you should at least try to branch out to some other non-rope gametypes. Such as T17.

Now you're making it sound like WA players suck at roping! There are awesome ropers on WA Can't really tell about WWP as I don't play that

And what's wrong with shoppers? If you have a scheme that's more balanced (check wmdb for a good one), the game is far less dependant on luck the outcome is based a lot on the efficiency of how you use your weapons

Actually, I would venture so far to say that there aren't that many good WWP ropers. I never remember there being that many when I played it.

but the wmdb scheme takes out most outrageously strong weapons and outrageously weak weapons. The best thing is to kill a worm with exactly enough points. Using your weapons in the most efficient way, so to speak :p

I never said shopper doesn't involve any luck. I said the scheme minimizes luck.

If it didn't, then why do I always see the same people win in the wmdb tourneys? (even though otherwise good ropers do compete in there yet don't get far!)

sounds like a decent scheme, how about uploading it to BTP, which has the most advanced and underused scheme system on the internet =D
