Parsay, have you happened to notice that there has been lots of recordings of the 3.7.*.* patch? you should look at them, i mean watch them, then ask yourself, "do i see any bugs?" the answer should be no. there are clearly no bugs... they are just taunting us... or atleast thats what i think. But why would they keep that away from public, then show us that they have it?!? That pisses me off. could someone please exlpain the meaning of them showing it off and making us all think its coming soon when in reality we still have to go through 3.6.25-99.* these patches will go on forever and they will never get to version 4.0. I think Dc has v4.0 but he's just releasing simple fix patches and in each one he will fix one thing thats fixed in 4.0 and is not fixed in the 3.5+ patches.
Please express your feelings of some random guy ive never heard of uploading the 3.7.*.* patch recordings, and your personal opinion on the new patches to come.

split, do not bitch about the W:A patches. That is the one thing I cannot bear.
First off, NONE of those are 3.7.x.x. If you would have extracted the logs from the replays, you would have seen that they are a special build of 3.6.25.1 provided for beta testers (in this case, M3ntal played a game with him so he could see the effects of the patch). These patches are special, in that they override the regular emulation, so that everyone ELSE'S game runs from that patch instead. This is very intensive to the person that hosts with them. Even then, only TWO of those replays are of that. The rest are showing little bugs in the game's logic that people have known of for years.
Now then, regarding Deadcode's supposed withholding of patches. He does the patches for his own benefit, not yours. So, if it seems that it's taking him a long time to release something, it's probably because something else has sidetracked him. The features in the special patch build have not been released because:
A) He cannot implement them in all patches because they're still buggy.
B) He cannot implement them in all patches in a way that will be equitable for everyone.
C) He's still testing how it reacts to other fixes that he's making.
As for 4.0. IT WILL NOT BE THE FINAL PATCH 4.0 will be the magic number where secure ranks and log-ins are reimplemented. And he couldn't possibly have it yet, because Team17 STILL havn't given him the source code for the server.
As for the 3.7 patch actually coming out, it will come out when a significant enough of a change has been permanently implemented. This means that we will NOT go all the way to 3.6.99.1 before the shift up.

I agree with Glenn. And as for those super cool patches you want but can't get. That's life. Sucks don't it? Although some of this stuff may be available to us... Sometime. I know what it feels like to not have something such as batty ropes... It causes somewhat of random jealousy and you think there's 1 fact about worms ur just missing.

And the person that uploaded the replay is an idiot. Download the replay, extract the log, and read it for yourself. And only the two that actually say it uses a patch are the ones that actually use this special build.
There has been a special build available to four or five people that has been running parallel to the patches the public gets this entire time.

This is 3.6.21.1 cuz just the host got the 3.7.x.x Beta, and it just will be emulated for the other players, who made the replays (like me) and my game version won`t be updatet, by this emulation.
@Glenn : M3ntal (the Beta-tester) said to me that he thinks this feautures will be come with 3.7.++++, so i wrote it.

No, it's 3.6.25.1 special test build. Extract the log from your replay, and it says that that is the patch used. It's called that for a reason, it isn't 3.7 final.
Call it batty ropes plus patch if you have to, but do not call it 3.7.
And trust me on this one, I know M3ntal as well. I know he's a beta tester. I also know two other beta testers.

not really, because batty ropes may never be to the public... kinda like something you've waited for for a long time to figure out they dont sell them anymore.

I'm fairly certain that SargeMcCluck has one as well, but I can't quite remember.
Batty Ropes will most probably be released to the public, as a toggleable option. The same goes for just about all of the new options that come about from this point forward. Deadcode has also managed to fix the no-fall damage bug, and implemented a way that you can take damage from hitting walls too hard as well.

Yes, I liked those missions too, as did everyone else that got the game when it first came out. However, we now have little pricks that bitch about the fact that there's *gasp* work to be done if you want stuff OMG WTH LOLOLOL!
