I'm trying to edit this video clip in flash, so I can change it into a .swf file so it's not so damn big. Monty (our recorder) has a very retarded camera and pieces of old film pop out in the new film. But no worries, I got the film opened in flash mx and I'm trying to delete some frames. I just right click the bad ones and click "Remove Frame" or "Delete Frame" but noo noo. A whole 'nother movie appears after the frames I tried to delete. Who knew frame deletion of a video could be so hard, or me being dumb enuf not to know how. Help me.

Flash is not a video clip editor, that's why you can't delete individual frames from the video clip. Get a program that can actually delete and insert video clips, TMPGEnc is one example I think.

I suppose that's one "good" thing about my degree (aero engineering), there aren't too many terms/words/etc that have "alternative" meanings.
What, like cockpits, turboshafts, thrust, nozzles, corkscrews, ram drag, payload, flaps, and wind tunnels? |

Dont need to do all that.. When you load the video file into Flash MX, it will ask you if you want to use the whole video.. Or cut it up.. Change the quality.. Etc.. Just cut it up there..
