Me and friends from school have started to make a game, similer to runescape expectmore fun, better graphics, and bigger.

At the moment the game is in early stages, but if you could sign up at the forums, and give any help you can.

Don't you think it would be easier to tell if we were excited or not if we had a demo or even a screenshot?
No offense, but usually it's not really good to annoucne a porject until you actually have something to give us.

Well you sorta need motivation to do things like this. I never get any motivation in terms of art, I don't show 'em to many people (hey, can you blame me?), so they usually go in my drawer never to be seen. You sorta have to know people care, and that if you stop people are gonna be disappointed.

Anyway, it sounds cool but better graphics than Runescape? Count me out, can't even run it on anything more than Low Quality. And go downstairs to the decent computer? Pfft!

Yes, you're going to have to have some work to show before you even announce anything. Just look at the site in my profile. It's deader than a doornail because they announced about a year ago, and they STILL don't have anything to show for it.

I agree with Glenn, start off by releasing like a demo.
Then the big annoucement when it is completly finished. Otherwise you'll run yourself into the ground

As far as this goes only runescape enthusiasts will be signing up there. How about advertising over runescape?

There is a screenshot page on that site, but the images seem to be broken.

I agree with Kik and Khuzad.

Advertising on Runescape would be a good idea cause quite alot of people play it online.

And the links are broken of the screenshots dude.
