As of next season, First-Blood shall be hosting a series of tournaments stretching over a season. Here are the details:

Points System
The winners of round 1 shall recieve 1 point, the winners of round 2 shall recieve 2, and so on. There'll be a page on the First-Blood site dedicated to the tournament section which'll display the standings. At the end of the season the standings will be reset ready for the next season of tournaments.

FB Tournament System
Secondly is the unique way First-Blood tournament's will be done. If there is an uneven number of entries, byes will be given for the first round only, where people will advance without gaining a point. We understand that this may seem a bit unfair to some of you, however we believe it to be the best way, the disadvantage of this is that you will not get a chance to get the 1 point for the first round, the advantage being you advance straight away.
This is done to eliminate byes later on in the tournament and time consuming group stages. Despite the way this is done, there shouldn't be much waiting.
