Lighten up fellas . If anything, BTP is better than cl2k because there are no elitists (that I know of).

I hate that site, its mods are childish, its users are (for the most part) retarded. I dont think anyone at CL2K even plays worms anymore.. They all just hang there seeing who can fukwit something first.

I hope their forums are up soon, I dont want to see any of the trash from over there come here and ruin a perfectly good comunity.

Yes there are some idiots at cl2k, but there's nothing wrong with the mods if you ask me. For the most part you probably just don't understand the cl2k sense of humor. Also there are many reasons why people might stop playing Worms and there is nothing wrong with them because of it.

It is a matter of life that people tend to stick with their friends and make strangers feel a bit unwanted. What has cl2k ever done to you Keeper?

Keeper, I think ye're judging cl2k forums based on a few annoying admins. There are plenty of cool people in the forums, but you're probably just not familiar with them because cl2k is basically a WA site and BTP is basically a WWP site (assuming you're mainly a WWPer). And in any case, there isn't going to be a massive cl2k-to-BTP migration, I just started this thread because I've transferred here for the moment.

Although more BTP users are WWP players (according to polls and download statistics), I'd say that more of our active users and posters in the forums are probably WA players.

I'd have to say BTP is more of a WA site, if not neutral, as it has plenty of coloured maps, game recordings and the odd utility going for it.

cl2k is not inactive at all, just in their own league.
Most ppl that participated in the worm olympics also frequent cl2k. (there were more cl2k-frequenters than btp-frequenters )

Yet the Worm Olympics thread at BTP had more replies than the one at cl2k, interesting

Well anyway, I have never welcomed at CL2K,

Surely you all know the topic I posted here about The Wormwars Movie I released?, well I posted one of the like at CL2K, and Wormiverse.

I went to CL2K only because the bulk of all wormers seem to pile up there. I figured it'd be a good place to get the news out.

Very few people there bothered to look at the movie, yet found time to critisize my effors.
Site statistics prove that half the people running their mouths never even saw that movie.

I Never said that everyone at CL2K is dumb, asshole, whatever else.. Bloopy whom Ive wormed with, as well as TonY, and quite a few others Use BRTP, CL2K RRkit, and wormwars. and they are fine people.

However, it has been MY experence that the genral population of CL2K could do with a major Reality check. Life isn't about making jokes or cracking on people. What fun is it to make someone feel unwanted. Thats not how forums are saposed to work. When You activeate that little email you get for registering at most forums, you are joining a comunity. With that should also be a sence of comunity, not a contest of who can be a bigger dick.

Maybe I see things a bit different, because I am older then most wormers. Ive been through alot, and have not always had it so easy. Not to say that anyone has had a perfect life, so dont put words in my mouth. I come from a different generation. At 14 years old I see people tossing around the phrase "Fuck You" like its nothing. When I was 14 if I said "Damn" my old man would knock me around till i was brain dead. Im old fashoned, I still beleieve that people deserve respect, so long as they are willing to show it in return. I believe that there is no reason to put someone down.

If making someone else feel bad make you feel good, then you need help from a professional. Theres nothing "cool" about being an annoyance..

Let me say again, I dont think Everyone at CL2K is like this. But a good part of the comunity is, and thats why I dont like those boards. And Thats why I no longer use them.

So if you want to lay into me for having an oppion by all means go right ahead. But I stand by my orriginal words. "Boo cl2k"
