Given all the bitching thats going on, i thought id post a thread to see what overall, people thought of the user administration.

Is it a terrible coagulation of forum nazi's?

They do a good job, but they do seem to be a bit paranoid. Plus, certain ones seem to jump to conclusions a bit too fast. Otherwise, they're fine.

I abstained tho i have not seen any major probs with the way the mods act, other then Jay there having a cow in a diff thread. As far as they're performance as mods go, i have not been here long enough to accually make a decent reply

Jumping to the conclusion that a new user could possibly be Kyle is not the way to go about these things. And complete banning just because a new user made a poor post isn't the way around it, too.

I think they're absolutely brilliantly fantastic.

I actually left it as yes/no for a reason.

But Yes and No answers are too vague, so the poll is pointless.

They are not vague, they are precise.

If i asked you if you wanted strawberry ice cream or not. I would not appreciate a reply of "well if you can improve your strawberry milkshake, i might like it a bit better"


On the other hand, contructive critisism is always welcome, and theres simply too much variation to account for everyones opinions.

Generally people liking the admin, is a good sign, than a million diffiring opinions. ( of course, not liking is also an option )

But, your asking a whole different question in that example there, so the answer would be different.

If im asking a large crowd of people the same question. To see if generally it is liked or not.

A whole bunch of "mmm its ok, but it needs _____" is not usefull, as it doesnt give me the info i so much desired.

However.

Seperate opinions, that are explained as well as the info i needed. Is very useful. After all, thats what the forum is there for, to discuss.

Also i feel glenn has worded the simple yes/no out of proprtions by exagerating them beyond a simple statement.

Jay, why don't you just change them back to what they were.. instead of making the thread go off topic on the first page.
