its health goes down every hour if it needs fed, if it doesnt need fed it randomly decides if it wants fed or not.

Currently it will take 48 hours to go from 100% to dead.

Maybe it would be better if it didn't die for a week, yet there was some advantage to feeding it every 1 or 2 days. On the other hand I believe anybody can feed any pixel, so you can get someone to babysit it if you know you're gonna be away 48 hours or more.

Actually, I was thinking about a pixel pet refrigerator. You could purchase the refrigerator for somewhere around £100. Then, you can store foodstuffs that will automatically be used as the pixel needs it (and not until, no using a 60% restoring food when the pixel still has 90%). The food would eventually spoil of course, that keeps you from buying too far in advance, but it should be able to sustain your pixel for a while.

Well, I'm thinking that you may want to work on the seeding for how long it takes for a pixel to want food again. I've just fed it three times in as many hours. Maybe set it up so that there's some base time (say, three hours?), and then you add the random amount of time to that number. Otherwise, it's quite possible (but improbable) to have to feed a pixel 6+ times a day just because the seed falls frequently upon it.

Two of my pet pixels died because I didn't have enough time to feed those little sons of a good person.
