Hi, when I go to play on wormnet the game crashes just after wormnet loads up.

I downloaded the trymedia version earlier today, which doesn't allow play on wormnet but later on I went to the shop and bought WA. I couldn't upgrade the trymedia version because I have dial-up connection that cuts off every 2 hours, and I needed to download a 255 MB upgrade for the trymedia version to work. So I uninstalled the trymedia version before installing the version from the shop on cd, but I am left with the same problem.

Help!

I just figured out that the 3.6.22.1 patch isn't working. It is coming up as version 3.50B2 on the WA welcome screen.

I have extracted the 3.6.22.1 patch, and a WA logo came up after that extraction. When I click on the WA logo, there is a black screen briefly, then I am returned to windows.

Is this a more common problem?

Okay, stupid question, did you actually extract the patch into your main Worms Armageddon directory?
