I don't think Dingbats needed to see BTP's code, it's all pretty standard stuff with plenty of tutorials all over the web. And Dingbats is quite clever really

just my 2 cents here, might sound negative but i general i like the site:

First of all the site design is plan and very basic, hardly a wow factor but then again the look for a site is not something that will draw em back for more - although in some cases it could drive me away - not in this case.

The source code is, frankly, horrible - better than most of BTP's but still years behind the current techniques for builind web pages. Hardly geared to the future. You could actually be liable to be sued for not providing disabled access if you attempt to make the site commercial - or it may even be applicable for non-commercial site, i've not looked into the legislation recently. Most countries are starting to intoduce these laws, i know for a fact that the UK and US have.

Another thing i have to bring up; whatds the point of your site really? Yes, yes you have that virtual pet thing going, and downloads of what are to be honest plain and simple uninspiring games. There nothign really there to draw the users in. BTP is first and foremost a worms site - this is how we attract new visitors. We then hope they hang around and try out the forums and other little features we have to pass the time. Other than you telling me to theres no real reason i would find your website - and you telling me to isn't going to keep me coming back.


Sorry if that sounded negative,the site itself is ok, just seems a tad aimless if you follow my drift.

Also could we get some filesizes on the download listsings, be nice to know how big a download will be before i click on it.
