Okay, for the past few days, WWP has been acting really weird. First of all, I can't play it normally... When I start the game, it just closes before it gets to the main screen, so I have to use leetF*ck to run it. Also, a lot of times, when I finish a game, it just closes when I click the X, instead of going back to the channels screen. Sometimes it will just freeze up, so that when I click on the X, it makes the sound, but nothing happens. Does anyone else have this problem, or know why it's happening to me, and how I can fix it? It's really annoying...

It doesnt happen to me and maybe u r getting popups. Popups is as far as my knowledge goes.

I'm not getting any popups. Also, if it was popups that caused this, it would have happened at random times, but it only happens when I start the game normally, and sometimes when I finish a game.

as for the freezing up thing, that's either because u'v got a slow connection, or because u'r on wormnet while there's lots of traffic, or both...I guess the only way 2 solve that problem is get a faster connection...
As for the rest, I think ur comps just pretty screwed up/v.slow, it all sounds very familiar 2 when I played WWP on my old PC. I blame windows. Hell, I blame Microsoft for all life's problems.

It's not either of those that is causing these problems because both my computer and my internet connection are fast. And if one of those was the problem, why would it just start doing this stuff now, and not before? Anyhow, I re-installed wwp, and that didn't help :-(. I can't play at all right now. I think wormnet is down, because when I open leetF*ck, it just says "Connecting..", and it won't let me click on "Launch WWP". And as I said before, I can't just click on the shortcut to WWP because it just closes after it shows the title screen.

Someone else had the same problem... this fixed it for me :-D

I suggest you copy your user folder, paste it somewhere safe and uninstall wwp. Then delete the registry entry. type REGEDIT in the run box. Then try and find software amongst the folders that show up. Find Team17 then wwp and delete the whole of wwp. Now install wwp and place the user folder back in its place, so you still have all your maps, graves, flags and so on...

You gotta download the european service patch from team 17. i had the exact same problem.
