Well, it's time for another of my best comps. This time the subject is science fiction series on television or in book form. The same general rules apply:
1) Only one nomination per member (I'm hoping to enforce this one this time).
2) Eight nominations total will be accepted.
3) The nominations will be randomized, and set into two semi-finals with four series each.
4) Top two from each semi will go onto the finals.
So, I nominate Star Trek, mostly because I know that Star Wars will almost instantly be nominated .

I'll consider it, only if I don't get enough nominations for other series (which doesn't seem too likely, considering the last contest had two double nominations...).

I'm reading the Otherland book series at the moment, it's utterly great, but unless you've read it you won't vote for it, so there's probably no point in me nominating it.
Can I nominate Futurama?

lets nominatalate Stargate SG1
I watched that yesterday. I think it was a movie of it or something though. (since it was on the Movie Network) It seemed kinda far fetched (like starcraft) The whole movie was taking place inside their heads, while they were being consumed by living fog =\

Well, we've now got out eight nominations, so Terminator unfortunately gets bumped out :/.
Here's the draws for the semi-finals:
Semi-final A:
Stargate SG-1
The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy
Final Fantasy
Star Trek
Semi-final B:
Star Wars
X-Files
Red Dwarf
Futurama
Amazingly enough, it didn't take that long to get eight nominations this time O_o. And I'm not going to post the links to the threads this time either. It shouldn't be too hard to find .

I used to watch + enjoy Stargate, but I got bored of it and now I think it's lame
