What if the south had won?

Back in my social/history class I learned a SHIT LOAD. God bless my teacher. But one thing that was really not talked about as much as it should of been; was the American Civil War....

I know the basics OF that war... but what if the south had really won?

Being the year that is now, and how mankind looks upon slavery and other such issues....

What would the Country of US of A be like NOW if the south had won the war....

If they did win, I am sure they would eventuly make same laws as we have today.... due to the growth of "peer presure" within our world.

But what about entertainment.... culture.... economics... politics....

How would they be differnt...?

It is an odd subject to speak of... take you time when posting please.

Well, considering the US is the only remaining superpower in the world (when I say superpower, I refer to a country that is close to 100% military and armament readiness), they do technically control the world. Rather sad really...

One would think, it would probably be like the south, only more advanced, like a different version of the north, only alot different, like languages and stuff, scary to think about.

If the south had won.... Do you all think that the USA would be more or less willing to "end" "start" and "maintain" wars all over the world? Unlike it is now?

USA will not be forever only superpower in the world.
Eventualy they will start real open war to European Union, NATO, Islamic people and rest of the world. They think that they are move powerfull than everybody else together. Like Romans, Naoleon, Hitler...
But they will lose war, nobody can conquer whole world, and that would be great fall of USA

rofl. Everything is inevitable some day, arch. No empire will last for ever. And if anything is going to take over, it's either going to be the pharmecutical companies or a mafia of some sort.
