The one and only reason I hate micorsoft... They charge you a shitload of money just for Windows XP or whatever you use...
It is really retarded, on my old computer I had windows 95 and I loved it... now you got a new windows comming out every 2 years, and the only advantage to getting it for the COMMON person is to play the newer games...

They are adding all this junk no one ever needs (for the common user), which takes up space and rescources on someones computer, thus the need for them to buy a new computer....

Isignia is one of the best themes. Although i dont use all the stuff like that side panel thing.

i prefer the pop out one, which i changed the style of, so the images used are from the aston1.9.1 theme.

All the junk comes from the OEM companies, for example compaq. My friend just bought a brand new HP computer, and it has when i asked him, 43 process running. He was only browsing the web and talking on msn, my computer was put together by me, and i installed xp myself, along with norton antivirus.

I had at that moment, listening to music, msn and firefox open, 24 process.

One thing that really bugs me is norton internet security, i was at his house and it warned him "msn" was about to access the internet...deafult choice was block.

barely anyone these days is familiar with how computers work. I admit im not techno wizkid, but i was able to muck my way through a complete build, and afterwards i felt confident enough to build my freinds computer too. Having only 6months beforehand, taking my old computer to pc world, to watch them overcharge me to fit RAM. I was gobsmacked watching them do it. Open case, slot it in and done, £15 please!

since then ive yanked bits n bobs out of this computer more often than i do pull controllers in and out of my ps2.
