This orrcered to me while I was playing 'mario kart64', Why does everything get turned into a kart racing game? Mario went karting, Shrek, Crash (rather ironic) team racing and the chocobo. God knows how long before a Worms karting game(that would be odd). But what would really be cool/odd/stupid/funny(delete as needed) would be BTP kart racing game, All the main members would be in it in there own drawn way. And the final level would be a showdown race against....DONE DONE DONE....THE PIXEL. It's would be so wierd it might work.

Since every other major game series went to the kart racing sence, theres no harm in Worms doing it aswell.

I think it'll be quite good. Such as in Mario Kart with the green turtle shell. It can be a grenade or bazooka.

Or the red shell, a homing missle or homing pigeon.

Hell! Already it sounds pretty good, so i vote "Good Idea"

Worms karts will proberly never be made, well, not until worms54D.

BTPKarts would be weird, Seeing yourself have a midrace fight aginst a fellow forum member.Though, it would be rather nifty.

This'll probably be the next step for T17 after Fort fails...It's either that or Golf.

It would be funny game, with collecting weapons and things, like Crash, I just love those racing games where you collect weapons and shields

I can code it if someone does the modeling and texturing...

What i think would be a good Worms game would be one like Counter Strike and all the rest.

Instead of a "turn-based" game, a mission based first person wormer (shooter).

What you guys think of that, everyone plays at the same time instead of 1 at a time.

Worms has it's own genre to me.. it is the game of games. It's got to be the only game I still play after 3 years of having it.

It is simple why such games become "KART" games.... because your not going to see mario in a suped up hot rod with flames down the sides and a naked princess toadstool painted on the hood. They are children based games... it's a way to introduce younger aduicence into race type games (Ie: a wider market for the companys to get more money using a recognized mascot, bla bla bla) . The games are more goofy and fun rather than challenging.... thus better for kids. I'm not saying mariokart64 is a kids game persay, but it sure is a fun one!


I can see if someone made a Java for a worms kart game, but I don't think T17 would be doing it anytime soon. Worms is too original of a game. Changing worms to racing is like selling out.
