Funny how you can see the 4 people all standing up for wwp and the rest go for w:a. And most of the wwp only have that game because they can't get ahold of w:a.

ok, i just installed wwp, result? its crap, why? because
doesn't work now:S
the error i get is"no default sound bank is selected" or "no default flag is selected":S
when i installed it i got no .exe of wwp, i found one tho(in my backup fodler)
it took me >30 mins 2 load, and it crashed in the end
conclusion?
fuck wwp

Conclusion; Your computer sucks, or, you just did something wrong.

BTW C1, I had W:A for like 3 months, and then I saw WWP, and W:A is shit compared to wwp.

my is is not crap, it has 70gb space, 2.5Ghz speed 1gb ram 15inch flat screen, cd writer and dvd rom, both at x48 speed, or what ever the 40 soemthing is

and wa loads instantly, unlike wwp

My speed, i think, or i dunno but it also says

i've played them both, wwp roping just seems more 'fun' dunno why, must be some minor tweaks to the physics engine or something.

they both load pretty fast and run smoothly on my comp.

WWP has a miles better single player game, as well as the mission editor, which is nice. Wormpot is also pretty nifty.

W:A has better multiplayer since the beta patch what with colour maps et al. But out of the box it's not so good as you need to unlock most things.

Verdict? I dont care which is better, i play both.

Well, when I load up WWP, I can literally go upstairs, grab a ham sandwich and some chips, come back downstairs, and it will just be getting to the first splash screen. Also, WWP can't be minimized in-game, so I can't refresh my internet connection (for some reason, auto-refreshers don't help very much), and I end up dropping my connection. Furthermore, WWP suffers from the infamous exploding cake bug, whereas W:A doesn't (for obvious reasons).

Jesus, me and duke and 100 others said CHANGE YOUR DAMN THING TO WINDOWS 95 IN THE PROPERTIES!

I have tried all, the cake thing is a bug. And it happens a the most annoying times.

I do have both on my computer, and as readme said wwp is better for playing with mates offline or the missions.

But i bought WA soley to play with the new patch, its amazing how much the little things make a diffirence.

And colour maps online are amazing.

the rope sounds so much smoother, so much better than the "WHIP! BONK!"

edit: after cleaning teh cd it works and loads nice and fast

Seriously, my disk looks like it has just come out of the box (I keep exceptional care of my disks). And it still loads slow as mollases running in January. Also, no amount of tinkering is going to allow me to refresh my net connection online from WWP (unless someone can make a program for minimizing ).

i keep good care of my cds, but my brother doesnt, his bedroom floor is plasterd with cds. He finally got this huge case 2 put his cds in, his room is......clean? well almost

and i blame him 4 the crappy state of my wwp cd, i get vertical scan lines on the water sprite
it doesnt load very fast, scince it cant read the disk

i never realy liked wwp, i knew wa was better as soon as i got wwp, but i didnt have wa then, broken cd

Um... actually, if you ever visited the T17 forums, all the W:A players were saying that W:A was better than WWP, because WWP is mostly a clone of W:A (with VERY few added features and different missions).
