Me and my best buddy Drshade hadnt been worming that long, but after we masterd the basics of roping we seen clans about but wernt good enough to get in one unless it was SIR or sommat(ROFL),so we decided to make our own we looked around his room thinking of a name and we noticed a "ministry of sound" poster i changed sound to ropers and there we go: Ministry of Roperz,we was put down ppl telling us we would die but we stuck by it anyway,we recruited GreenPoops who is V Good and kinda tought me and shade how to rope, me and sahde got betta and betta we got a bunch of guys but they kinda died off of unactiveness,and we was kinda at a low but then vision joined us then Zvi and then all of a sudden people were lining up to join us at present we hav 9 or so members mainly good at roping but a few non rope players aswel,this is our first proper attempt cl2k this season and at the moment were 3rd so there it is MoR

hahaha, great stories...... i started a clan with my friends from schoool, we were the NJA(ninja) clan, we actually did pretty good, after about 4 months, we just stopped playing so i fromed the Skt clan, no one joined, so i quit and joined the WrU clan..... i never have luck with getting peeps to join.

Redline pretty much said it all i'd just like to add that we started in October 2003.

Clans I have started: TUR, TUS, HB, 1nR

Story of TUR:

When I got my internet back, after 2 years of waiting I got the patch and started having fun. I was a huge n00b at the time, but I was okay. One random day I decided to start a clan and asked random people to join. I called the clan "The Unholy Ropers". Some of those random people did join. I was the only leader with 4 memebers. I was playing someone in a shoppa and they asked "What does TUR mean, The Ultimate Ropers?". I told him it was The Unholy Ropers. Then I have decided: I like Shoppa. Therefore...

Story of TUS:

The Ultimate Shoppers. I had the original 4 members from TUS and 3 new members. TUS didn't last long, because next thing you know, we merge with Contra Clan.

Story of HB:

Things didn't work well with some of the members of TUS and xCx. I hated Slaya. Then it became to "I hate C1". Then it went to "I hate Contra". So I decided to take my members back and make a new clan called HackBack. I accused C1 of hacking my game for some random reason, so our clan is the the guys that Hack the guys that Hack us. There was kinnda some problems with C1's PC and then HB died, because of the fact that no one from TUS that merged into Contra decided to leave. Well, the idea of HB died. Months later...

Story of 1nR:

The 1337 n%bish Ropers. Great clan name, barely lasted 2 days. Me and Snake got everything set up for our new clan and then bang! Snake goes missing. I think he suicided. It's a shame that 1nR died so early.

Story of WCE:

This clan just started a few days ago. I was in an RR with Sapaum and he said he wanted a clan. So I said (not meaning anything) "okay, lets make a clan called WCE. Worst Clan Evar." He took it seriously and asked me to help him make the clan. We have a clan. We don't have a bloody silly site, but that is all right. This one may actually be sucessful, because when I talk to other wormers (this only happened today) and tell them what WCE means, they're saying "Well this will make me belong to WCE."

So far TUS has been the most succecful clan out of all of these, but I think that WCE will become one of the big clans soon.

Sometimes I wonder how WG ever made it off the ground, not saying it sucks but it had a bad beginning like most clans. I used to get random members too, and that wasn't the smartest choices I ever made.
