I was fine with it until C1 made himself Uber God. That should be someone else's call - not his.

I was just going to rate you down normally so you were no longer on Uber God, but neither me or r_e could cos we'd already voted, and CBwhiz couldn't be bothered. Fine by me, so i did a db change.

What anonyed my most is well, i'll quote myself actually:

Sure C1 explooited a bug, but its not like he went around marking up everyone, rather people he felt deserved it, like Glenn, hes had a solid 20 rating for freaking ages.

Sure you are admin and what you wsays goes, but alienating long standing members of the society isnt the way to prove your still an admin.

Yeah, I always find swearing at admins on a site that you want your status back never works. Actually I've never found that out, it's just common sense.

Quite honestly I think it's completely fair to retract his rating, but at the same time I don't think ANYONE on this site should have an "uber-god" rating, that defeats the system, it's an unfair advantage to put you out of harm's way of losing your status in the community. C1 has basically shown his true colors however, is this really the kind of behavior we should come to expect from a moderator, let alone any forum member? If he had handled the situation more maturely, I would feel sympathy towards him, but considering his childish behavior, "which I know will be followed by an apology as usual" I don't think he'd be a loss to the site.

actually uber gods can still be rated down, it just means >20 or $const_high_rating to be exact, which as a value 20. nice concise variable name that one. whats wrong with define('highrating',20); ?

Alright, sorry for the misunderstanding, I was under the impression that you could not rate someone with the "uber-god" title down.

I wouldn't have actually cared much about my rating if he just dropped it a little bit. But Pope, u probably weren't here when my rating was ONE! So i couldnt post or do pretty much anything. So I was actually just going to quit btp right here and now. And you should have talked to me about this before doing sumthing like this Readme.

I may of not been here but I read the whole thread understanding every step of the punishment you faced.

Anyway, if people thought you deserved to be raised from 1, they'd have voted you up. Simple really.
