I baught a PS2 network adaptor from GAME about 2 weeks after new year after being asured that it will work on BT broadband. I use a modem to connect to the internet and am not a static user. I get home plug it all in and it doesnt work.

I am using a crossover cable going from my Network card to my router/ethernet switch with then goes into another crossover cable and then into my PS2

I think i have all the settings correct on my PC and PS2 but it still doesnt work. Im not sure if i should be using a router or an ethernet switch or if mine is faulty.

I was just wondering if anyone has a Network adaptor that could help me set it up or if anyone no's how to help me.

Do you mean the cords that plug into the computer and the phone jack thing?

I have a DC, and I just plug the wire from the back of the DC right into the phone jack...

My member BunkrKing has a PS2 Network Adapter. You should talk to him. If you want to PM me for his screename of something. Or course I will ask Bunkr for his permission first.

I have a modem so my modem goes in the phone line and then into my PC.
I could put my modem straight into my network adaptor but it is a USB cord and the adaptor only takes Ethernet.
So i plug the modem into the PC and the pc into a switch and the switch into the PS2.
And i have allowed network sharing

you dont wanna be using crossover cables from NIC to router, crossovers are for NIC to NIC, you just need regular ethernet cabling.
