Anyway, speaking of Pokemon cards, I have enough cards that I could probably flood the state (if not the region). I have well over 2000, and it's worth all together about $4000.

I LOVED THE NINJA TURTLES WHEN I WAS YOUNG! In my gr 1 picture I was holding the ninja turtle up to the camera.

What I'm hating is them relauching all the shows my older bros used to watch(EG turtles, Transforamers)

You see, they do it because they know it will sell. Basically, they're milking the market for all it's worth. That really doesn't sit well with me.

That's why I hate Harry potter. It's turned into a HUGE fanchise and sells stuff compleatly unrealted to it (EG Lamps.) All though, the surbert lemons are nice.

Yeah, they're doing that with EVERYTHING. And it's really annoying. Like think of some better ideas for getting money . People are just too lazy these days.

We have a kid at school that we call Harry Pothead. He actually looks like Harry Potter, except he has black hair. Very scary .

harry potter film were a daft idea

"hey look, this new author has got kids reading again! lets simplify the story and make them a film to save them the trouble"

I loved all 4 book, got bored and switched off the first film halfway thru.

LOTR films were a much better translation, and even they weren't great compared to the books.

Same here. I'd hate for my image of all the characters like DEATH, Lord Vetinari, Vimes, Nobby, Rincewind or anyone else to be shattered by someone who doesn't look like them in my head.

Books are an entirely different medium. I don't think you should even try and make a comparison between book and film.

The timescale and images in your head are utterly different to a film where the details are shown but may not always be noticed, whereas in a book, there's no pictures (except maybe the frontcover which usually makes some sense once you're half way through), where the details are listed and explained and alot of the time will be given a brief history of them.
