After trying to figure out how to import filters from adobe photoshop into mfmx, I finally worked it out.

As simple as anything, all you do is copy the plugin filters from ap, into the plugin folder in the mfmx program folder.

Anyway, once you've copied and pasted it into there, start mfmx and then at the top, there's the menu 'Filters'. Click that and it will display ALL the filters that are compatible with mfmx.


I'll upload the zip pack soon (14.4mb). I can't do it now since one of my accounts got disabled and banned because of using it to host macromedia director.

(I seriously suggest you get this. It adds so many effects to mfmx!)

Tripod do searches of the contents of the sites/servers for 7 days after you register. Got to wait a week until I can upload anything illegal...lol.

700 filters? how the heck?!

I haven't gone through them all so can't really say if they're that good or if there are any filters that are alike but that are other 700 plugin files.

i got a pack of 500 but most of them dont work in PSP for soem reason - i think some of the zips corrupted.

It's actually even easier than you said pope, just add extra locations for the plugins and you only need to have themin one place and all your graphics proggys can use the same ones

I'm alright. They only need to be in one place anyway. I rarely use ap7 other than one or two filters that are unique to it.

btw....does anyone know how to add smilies to AIM? i'd like to make my own....but can't find a folder to sneak them into lol

You cannot use plugins that are made for ap7 (and i shall keep saying it that way), with ms paint. It was merely a sarcastic poke at microsoft's lack of support and effort put into creating ms paint.

i'd hardly put it that way pope, it's not a proper graphics package really, just something to draw basic stuff in.

M$ photo editor is a tad better tbh, but not up to the standards of mfmx pscs and psp8
