Of course you can be skilled in Photoshop. If you are good at drawing, then you can draw good things in it. If you are not, you probably can't. And another skill is to understand what all buttons and stuff do without reading a tutorial.

What's the skill in knwoing what a button does? Even with or without a tutorial that has told you. It's what you do with the buttons.

Well, but I meant that it's a skill to understand what a button does just by looking at it. Maybe not so related to Photoshop, but it's a skill.

It's a skill in knowing how to make one button work with another button to make sumthing great. That's why tuts are for unskillful people.

photoshop has so much more than filters! you have to been good to use them though.....i mean....now i almost never use "layer styles" for my sigs except for the "Stroke" one....there are thousands of ways to do the same thing....just some are harder....and look a bit better....

lmao lmao lmao. more filters?
you ever heard of the internet, it's this amazing place where you download filters that work in PSP AND PS. They do all kinds of cool shit.
Afaik only thing PS has that PSP doesn't is channels, and PSP might have them, never really looked into it.

But isn't PS more focused on editing photos and PSP on drawing? Aren't they for different purposes?

No, I'm actually going to re-install it after un-installing EVE Online so I can create an ak47 and m16 gun model for a FarCry mod.
