I got a new graphics card finally but I need to know how to install it correctly on Windows 2000. It's all plugged in etc... This is all pretty vague so none of you will be able to help but if someone could tell me how to get rid of this error when I try installing the farcry single player demo on XP:

'1628: Failed to complete installation.'

Before that message I get another one saying:

'Internal Failure: Erorr number:0x80040707'

Help? Please?

why u putting far cry on xp when the card on 2000?

anyway sounds like something doesnt like somehting else.

maybe the demo is borked

I have two OS' on teh same PC. 2000 came with it and I found a bootleg XP in russia and installed it. Doesn't matter now anyway, I just found the shortcut on the C drive and sent the exe. file to the desktop. BTW the farcry demo fucking kicks ass. I'll take a few screenshots later...

hmmm i had the same type of problem installing Alien vs. Predator 2......(another insane game!)
(on a burned cd though)
