i think the point was to not display post count, which i might do.

I'm happy with the RPG forum as it is, if the other admins dont agree with it as is then they can change it. Only thing i'm gonna do is the same as i do on all the BTforums - moderate them according to the forum rules.

Holy cow you people post lots. 1 day and it's at 4 pages! Actually dream i try not to post so much in slap the user but i have a slap or two once a day when im on. As for the rpg forum, it's not up to zog because zog doesnt care. And now it seems that the mods of the forum (the only ones that liked the crappy idea in the first place) don't even want it. So the only person that wants it is readme. The person who is too stuborn to go with majority.

What the hell? Tell me, C1, where did I say "I don't want it anymore"?? I'm just feeling overwhelmed. I'm gonna go along with ReadMe.

Ok so joe the guy who wants people not allowed in "their" forum, readme, and the other mods. There isn't much in ur favour besides readme.

i STILL think we should take the post count off the blametheRPG .....that would solve the problems and people can still post (and/or spam) all they want

spam will not be tolerated, i mean like childish spam and besides, all the spammers will ahve 2 w8 b4 their next post

Okay, I need an explanation. When I made that RPG in the General forum, no one complained, everyone participated. Now that we've moved it to a new forum and added some more rpg's to that forum, suddenly your mad. What made you angry all of a sudden? The first rpg wasn't spam, how come an rpg forum is spam??

And i agree with igw. Removing the post count in the rpg forum should at least make everyone happy.

It's because it's now special. At first it was all 'oh cool, it's an RPG, lets work on it.' But now, since it has it's forum, this has changed to 'HOW IN THE **** DID IT GET IT'S OWN FORUM' (You may substitute anything for ****). It's all psychology really, but I don't really want to go into that. Mostly because I'd be digging myself too deep a hole to get out of in doing so.

It doesn't matter if you don't take off post count. Post count is supposed to show about how social you are (The "Bluies"). They deserve being "Bluies" because they are bascially socializing. An RP is a perfect way to bring people together (Hey, C1 I thought you were cathloic). It helps us meet more people and shit. It's an off-topic socializing type thingy. So post counts should not be removed, it shows that people actually are using BTP for it's actual reason, socializing (I assume that is the point, because it is a "community").
But they should lock threads at a certain point (800 posts maybe), because of the rumors of the huge amount of posts on the slapping thread causing the site to crash.

I don't mind seeing the post counts of the members so much. Maybe just remove the post count display from the thread view, and leave it in the profiles. Of course, that sounds really redundant, doesn't it. Ah well...
