I was just fooling around with rope and the bow and I landed then immediatly pressed fire and I shot the arrow straight up. It went on forrever O.o This happened to anyone before?

never happened but what did the distance number say when you quit?

i dont think it's possible because a rope only goes to a certain length.

i think arrows are affected (just slightly) by gravity though, so I dunno why it didnt just fall back down eventually.

I didn't see any distance. (Yes, was the arrow) Arrows are only affected by gravity once they go off the map perimitter. I waited about 10 minutes for the arrow to come back down.

arrows wouldnt fall back down but they would show a distance. But don't bows only go to high? they cant go directly straight up unless u can shoot them of a rope which u cant..

Well, it's a pretty well known glitch, but I'll clue you in anyway. First of all, you must have any weapon that is aimable for all 180 degrees. Then, you must have a bow or the baseball bat (you can't have any girders if your using the bat).

Okay, switch to the 180 degree weapon, and aim it straight up. Now start walking. While your walking, use the shortcut keys to switch to the bat (F7) or the bow (F3). When you get to the point where you want to attack, press space WITHOUT STOPPING. Your attack should go straight up. This also works with aiming straight down.

oh i never knew that shooting arrows straight up were possible

I knew of the bug but I didn't realize that this was that (didnt know you could do that with bow & arrow).

Impossible,that never happen to me ever before...That is so strange,i dont even think it is possible to shoot and arrow straight up...

Well, why dont you go try it out fool. Trust me, it does work. In fact, you can shoot them straight down. Never a good idea though, that means you shoot yourself .

heh. Shooting yourself eh? fun. Do arrows that fly up come down ever? or did u see how high they went?

The arrows never come back down. No distance indicators ever appear. I can however, tell you the game waited 25 seconds before it returned control to me.

Why not try and follow the arrow with your mouse? It probably stops at sum point that u can see.
