notoriously difficult to style tho, personally id's use a relative positioned container div and abs pos elements inside it - prolly wouldn't display well in IE but i dont care.

or you could go to http://cgi-bin.spaceports.com/~linkback/imagemapper/ and use that. just click that if you wanna know what it is.

well for some reason you get a 404 if you click that, so don't. instead copy and paste and it will take you to something.

to use one picture you need to use coordinates on the picture so from 10,10 to 30,80 on the picture it would go to a certain place. I've never used it before I just know how it works. Though TundraH can probably tell you in more detail and actually do it for you:|

Actually I just tried it with my new sig. It worked in a file on its own but as soon as i put it here the whole sig takes the link of the last coordinate's so i guess you cant :/

Actually I was thinking more of one background image on a div or table, with the links as text.
