My copy of wwp does not work efficiently, its the gayest thing ever seen in a video game thats 2D. All the freaking menus have delays when i click them, text taks ages to appear in the box where i type sentances for wormnet, the game quits to the desktop peareodically and the clouds and intro screeens also take fucking ages to come and go. Its like watching in slow motion. The clouds move jerky and crap.

no WM, i'm sure many people have this exact same problem. I had it with Worms Armageddon (didnt have WWP back then), and then I got one of those '100% DirectX Compatible' video cards. Just get an nVidia, chances are it'll work. I have an nVidia GeForce 4 MX420 (sweet.. 420...). So something like that or one of those new ones should do the trick.

btw, what's your video card as of now?

its an intel integrated one the comp came with dx8.1 but i downloaded 9 in an atempt to help my problem

yeah, my laptop is a bit slower with WWp than my Pc.

I've noticed it happens with Pentium Celeron PCs/Laptops.

You can have the newest computer on the market, but if you graphics card isn't 100% DirectX compatible (dunno ver. required), you'll get this problem. I had it too on my last comp, so I got a new gfx card (geforce 4 mx420 pci 64mb). This is one of the reasons to build your own comp instead of buying worthless crap (i.e., comp has an integrated gfx card or comes with a p.o.s. gfx card that you aren't going to use because it's a p.o.s.).

p.s. that's why on my new comp i got a mobo that didn't have any integrated gfx card at all, got 8x agp geforce 4 mx4000 128mb.

Its fixed anyhoo.

I assume Matrix, that u have an integrated video thingy. After purchasing a new 152 pound good proper card. It works fine. Also playes worms 3d at full rez, beutifully.

It has nothing to do with proccessors.
