when my nan died, my mum was realy upset...she didnt want to talk to anyone about it, but i firend of her's recomened a good counciler, so she went there for 2 weeks, after that she felt so much better, she was still upset, but she controlled her emotions and came thru it, that was 2 years ago, now she is just like she was before my nan died...she is so much nicer to be around...dr you should try counciling when your ready for it, it could help you thru this tuf time.

I feel like I want to talk to someone but I can't and I dont know why.

Well, Today is the funeral so hopefully i'm gonna feel better after this, and I will be able to get back to things normally, I wanna thank everyone for the support they have given me.

Same here SW. My dad died a coupla years ago. I was sad for the first few monthes but after that I just got on with my life. I didn't like telling people that I didn't have a dad. I didn't want sympathy.

My friend's dad died. And then right after that, his mom died. Both times, he acted as if nothing ever happened. And even though the entire school knew about his dad dying, no1 said anything. (due to they didn't want to talk about it he didn't) But he didn't act any different, and he didn't seem sad. I found it quite odd.

Some people can deal with death better than others. Then again, there's always those people that just fall straight into denial and live the rest of their lives that way (very dangerous), but those are few and far between. And another alternative is that he believes in the Bible and this scripture:

"And I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the former heaven and the former earth had passed away, and the sea is no more. I saw also the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God and prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: "Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his peoples. And God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away."" - Revelation 21:1-4

You pays your money, and you takes your pick...

He's the complete opposite. He doesn't believe in God, he believes more in the scientific evolution.

Um, who says religion and science can't mix? As far as I'm concerned Science will eventually explain everything. Doesn't mean religion and god(s) aren't real.
