so i kinda sorta fixed the new ULinks. I belive that anything it identifies simply as 'UID 1111' is a user not found in the database.

I think this means that these users have since been deleted.

Or it could mean that you can invite users that don't exist.

Someone check if thats the case for me, I've done enough. Maybe.

Oh

What I broke exactly was proper a tags for linking.

IE, http://manual works, but text dies.

Can't do much about it - the old way caused the server to spend > 30 sec (ie, the fatal time) processing long things. Suggestions?

I have activated the new ULink code for forum and PM uses of the bbcode tag [ user ].

That means, the following are now equivalent:
[ user]CBWhiz[/user]
[ user2]CBWhiz[/user2]

I have also added a [ uid] tag that takes an ID instead of a name:

[ uid]610[/uid]

If you notice anything funny, tell me.

Correct, The only difference is it currently doesn't show the 'unknown user' link. See the bottom of the page for some debug info you created
